Possibilities

  • High accuracy in differentiating between benign and malignant colorectal tumors
  • Identification of patients (triage) who are highly likely to require subsequent diagnostic procedures, including invasive biopsy

Who is the test recommended for?

  • Patients with suspected malignant colorectal tumors based on clinical-laboratory findings (changes in bowel habits: onset of diarrhea, constipation, or ribbon-like stools; presence of bright red or dark red blood in the stool with a tarry consistency; abdominal cramps, persistent pain or bloating; unexplained, rapid, and spontaneous weight loss; constant fatigue and malaise even after adequate rest; anemia related to chronic bleeding, fatigue, weakness, and pallor; elevated tumor markers CEA, CA19-9, CA 242) and/or imaging data (colonoscopy, ultrasound, MRI, etc.)
  • Patients for whom a recent invasive biopsy was inconclusive or did not align with clinical observations

Diagnostic Characteristics

  • The clinical sensitivity of the test is >99%, as demonstrated on samples from 1,147 patients with colorectal cancer
  • The clinical specificity of the test is 98.70% and 95.47%, as determined by evaluating 700 cases with benign disease and 12,009 asymptomatic individuals
  • The clinical sensitivity and specificity of the test for detecting circulating tumor DNA are 73.17% and 93.75%, respectively
